Superior Statistical Research was founded in 2017 by Dr. Nathan Tintle. Nathan received his Ph.D. in Statistics in 2005 and has served as a practicing statistician since 2002. His experience is broadly in the area of biostatistics, with expertise developing new statistical methodologies and serving as lead biostatistical analyst on numerous projects. He has received over $20 million of federal funding as a faculty member (e.g., NSF, NIH, DOE) on over 35 separate federal awards, primarily as the PI and lead grant writer. He has over 150 peer-reviewed publications in statistics and biostatistics and recently completed a 6-year term as the Research and Scholarship director at Dordt University overseeing an annual grant and intramurally funded research portfolio of over $3 million, currently holds a joint appointment as a Research Professor at the University of Illinois – Chicago. Superior Statistical Research began as a for-profit arm of Nathan’s biostatistics and curriculum development/assessment research. Over time we have added affiliate Ph.D. researchers and honed expertise on assessment and evaluation of health issues related to water quality, fatty acids and educational assessment through partnerships with organizations and individuals with expertise in this sector. We are currently involved in projects in a handful of countries around the world run by U.S. based for-profit and not-for profit entities, as well as a series of more traditional clinical trials style biostatistical projects via contracts with academic institutions and for-profit businesses.
